Orchard Valley Waldorf School has a dynamic faculty and staff with a diverse mix of life and work experiences and educational backgrounds. The school is located in Central Vermont, a region of rich natural beauty that offers a wide range of family-oriented and recreational opportunities. The Grace Farm campus is located eight miles from Montpelier, Vermont’s capital—a small town with big-city amenities, including a lively arts and music scene, great restaurants and an active community life. Our Child’s Garden and Sweet Clover Nursery campuses are both located within Montpelier.
We serve a wide range of families, drawing students from the Central Vermont counties of Washington, Lamoille, Caledonia, and Orange. The local chapter of the Anthroposophical Society, the Green Mountain Branch, sponsors study groups, festivals and conferences.
