Accessibility and Tuition

Orchard Valley Waldorf School is committed to socio-economic diversity and strives to be accessible to all who value and prioritize a Waldorf experience for their child.

While the primary responsibility for financing a student’s independent school education rests with their family, each Orchard Valley program has distinct financial aid opportunities available to support families of limited financial means.

Sweet Clover Nursery (3 months - 3.5 Years)

Tuition for the 2024-25 Contract Year

Public funding for childcare is available through the Department of Children and Families Child Care Financial Assistance Program. This funding is based on family income and offers a subsidy for lower income families. Please visit their website for income eligibility guidelines and information on how to apply.

PreK (2024-25 Tuition)

Universal PreK: Act 166 provides $3,884 (24/25) for all children aged 3-5 as of September 1st regardless of household income through their Preschool year. Students who are in their kindergarten year are not eligible.

This funding is available through the student’s local school district and must be applied for by the district's deadline. Once we have received confirmation of registration from the local school district, the public funding amount will be applied to your financial account. Orchard Valley then invoices the school district for payment based on monthly attendance. If parents do not apply for the Universal PreK: Act 166 funding then the parents will be responsible for the full tuition amount.

For more information on how to apply, reach out to our Admissions Director at enrollment@ovws.org and by contacting your local school district.

PreK families may also be eligible to receive partial tuition support from the Department of Children and Families Child Care Financial Assistance Program. Please visit their website for more information and eligibility requirements.
