The School Warming is a tradition at Orchard Valley where parents, faculty, and staff gather as a community to honor the physical space of our school. After brief formal introductions, we will visit all of the classrooms in silence, bringing natural materials to bless each room and outdoor play area with gifts from nature. Please arrive by 6:30 pm. The ceremony will end with singing and some classes will follow the Warming with class meetings. Others may progress home in silence, filled with the reverent mood and knowledge that the school is settled and waiting for our children to arrive for the first day of school, Tuesday, Sept. 3rd!
