Through intuition ancient cultures knew that all of the individual parts that make up our Earth work together as a whole, and now science has recently begun to discover this truth. We can learn ways to teach math, science, history, literature, movement, and more in a holistic fashion and find ways to meet and mitigate the global challenges we now face with joy and understanding, instead of fear.

David Maynard, former OVWS Movement teacher and longtime homesteader, will present an educational vision that uses academic studies, physical skills, and play to addresses sustainability issues.
