Grades 2 through 8 will perform a diverse repertoire from their music classes with Ms. Back, including traditional American and English folk songs, music from the Baroque and Renaissance eras, choral music from South Africa, Georgian and American shape note traditions, jazz, pop, original compositions, and improvisation. Instrumentation will range from pentatonic flutes in the lower grades to recorder, strings, guitar, and ukulele in the upper grades. And, as always, there will be singing!
