Connecting to the Land and Self through Dowsing

  • Orchard Valley Waldorf School 2290 Vermont 14 East Montpelier, VT, 05651 United States (map)

This hands-on workshop will incorporate the joys of farming, gardening, animal husbandry and land stewardship with some tools and ideas to assist in connecting with the unseen energetic intelligences, creating an environment for spiritual exploration and co-creation. Dowsing is the search for information by means of a hand-held instrument and faculties beyond the five physical senses. It involves higher levels of mind and spirit, energies beyond the simply electromagnetic, and both transmission and detection of subtle energies. Lisa will share how she uses dowsing to communicate with plants, animals, nature spirits and her guides as she lays out her gardens, cares for her livestock, while building a deep connection with her land and the wildlife with whom she shares space. A handout will be included and dowsing tools will be available to borrow during the class and purchase before or after the class. Please bring your own dowsing tools if you have any! Part of the workshop will be outdoors, so come prepared.

Lisa McCrory is an Organic Farmer and Consultant living in Bethel, VT. She was first introduced to dowsing 33 years ago and blends it in with her knowledge of Biodynamic Agriculture and her training in Reiki, Shamanism, and the Akashic Records. She enjoys helping clients develop ways to listen to the land and work with the energies present in the landscape.
